Last Thursday, the 22th, started a Theater Festival here in my town, that happens every year, and I went to watch a cool musical called The two Gentleman of Verona, and according to what was written on the little magazine that the festival has made, it was the only Brazilian play that participated in the biggest Shakespeare festival in the planet, made by the Royal Shakespeare Company (anyway I still thought the end was kind of lame..)
And on Friday was Blind Guardian's show!! It was so great, you have no idea, even though there were a delay. It was the best show I've ever been. And I guess Hans Kürsch and the rest of the band were really impressed with the crowd, because there were some times when they couldn't stop smiling, and there was a very cool moment, already at the encores, when Olbrich, the guitarist, showed up with a guitar, everybody started to scream Bard's Song, Bard's Song, and they really were going to play that song... And I almost died when they played Lord of The Rings, I mean, they hadn't played this song in any of this tour's concerts so far, and yet they played it here, I was so happy... It was the first time that I watched them live, and I wasn't disappointed, hope they release a lot a cds as soon as possible and come touring here... The only thing that made me upset was the fact that I forgot to bring my super cool new digital camera to the show.. I'm so stupid.. But anyway, going to post here the video of The Bard's Song, for you guys to see how cool it was.
And yesterday I travelled to my Grandma's house again, since tomorrow is her birthday. It's a six hour trip by car, but I don't get tired or bored because I sleep almost the
whole trip. But that's not the point. Today, when we were coming back to Curitiba (the name of the city where I live) I was observing Serra do Mar (not so sure how we can write this English, anyway, serra is a bunch of mountains, one after another), wich is something I really like to do (when I'm awake to do so, I mean :oo). And I was thinking how m country is beautiful, and how it hurt me to see part of the mountains, once filld with trees, tranformed in fields of pure grass, probable to created freaking cattle or something like that, and houses emerging in some spots (remembering this supposed to be a preserved area), and you have no idea how this makes me sad, and angry. As Sandi Thom sings in her song, I was born to late for a world that doesn't care. But I think I'll complain about human beings another day, because I'm all sleepy, and that would take me at least some hours...bye bye!
