To Summarize

I wonder why did I ever stop writing. I love writing. Essays, I mean (don't think I'm creative or patient enough to write a story for more than half chapter): giving out my opinion about the world and trying to make each time more persuasive than the other. I guess at first I said I was 'blocked' when my favorite teacher suddenly left school, without giving any notice, just after he said that would be our greatest year so far. Now, when I look to myself I can't recognise any part of me. And regardless of what people always say, it wasn't a change for the best. I look at my reflection and wonder where did my spirit go, where's the person I used to be, and that I want to be once again. But when I think of thing such as this I get so depressed that I simply change the subject, and pretend as if it never happened. Guess that if I wanted to be a better person, or at least more at ease with myself, I should start creating some serious selfcontrol and willpower (not so sure if this is even a word, or more important, the word I want to say, but never mind).

Today was the first day that I've ever had school's classes on saturday. Was actually pretty cool. And something good finally happened to me, because at last I learned how to use clubbox, I'm sooo glad for soompi's tutorial :D

And now, to light up the mood a bit, I'm going to post a video of Shonen Club, think the date of the episode was 4th of February.. Not so sure.. Anyway, it's the Bouken Medley! Shoon and Taiyo sang Sayaendo with ABC's Tsuka; then Kawai from ABC sings do!do!do! with some Kis-my-ft2 dudes (sorry, i never remenber thei names XD); Yamada, Yuto and the other little ones sing Honey Beat; then Hikaru sang Fly High with Kitty; and Yabu sang Summary with other juniors :D I really like this medley all the songs were great, but my favorite gotta be Summary, and not just because Yabu is singing this one ;D Ah~~ just talking about this makes me feel better..

Pose for Me

I've just realised that when I'm bored I start going to fotologs. Wonder why is that, 'cause in these last few months I've grown to hate flogs. I mean, seriously, what's the deal with flogs? (nevermind that I used to have one) It's just a bunch of people taking freakin' poser photos in hopes of catching the attention of as much people as they can (talking about being ''emo''). Sometimes flogs can be cool, I know, but to me, most of the time flogs are just about letting people know your mood but not f*cking telling why. And you can argue saying that flogs and blogs are almost the same thing, but for some reason I can't stand flogs while I love blogs. Go figure...

I guess I can't too moody today, though. 'Cause my friend told me that the tickets for Blind Guardian's show are already for sale! I'm so excited about that, you guys have no idea. I have to buy mine soon otherwise I'll end up paying twice the price, and if I don't have money to pay for the original price imagine twice the amount.. And just in case somebody doesn't know, Blind Guardian is a heavy metal band :D Okay, not a very hardcore one (if ya know what I mean), I'll give ya that, but it's a vey cool one. They have a lot of songs about Lord of The Rings, and their new CD, called A Twist in the Myth, talks about Peter Pan! (And don't bad-mouth Peter Pan, because I love this story) But I think I should stop talking.

But I won't upload one of BG's songs for you to hear because today I was so damn lucky to download two songs that I just love hearing at Shonen Club but that I didn't know the name 'till today >D One of them is called Daite Senorita, performed by Yamashita Tomohisa, aka Yamapi (I don't really like Yamapi, even though he acted at Lunch no Joou, but I love this song). And the other one is called Venus, performed by Tackey & Tsubasa (they have some cool songs, but I can't stand that Tsubasa guy). I'm not going to talk how I prefer Ya-Ya-yah singing both these songs more than the originals singers, but I hope you guys enjoy them :D

Why is That..

So in the end I came back earlier from Grandma's. At least I get to watch Dream Girsl tomorrow, hope it's cool. Anyway, I was going to blab about things from my trip but instead I decided to talk abou something that has been bugging me for a while now. But first let me warn you guys that is a very weird subject..

Yaoi.
I'm sure that all of you know what Yaoi means, but just in case... Is something like that : you've already heard abut those japanese comic books, called mangas right? Yaoi is a kind of manga, that talks about love between guys, ya know? Anyway, what I was thinking is that Yaoi is much more popular than Yuri, don't ya think? At least on the net, I mean. I don't know how often you read manga online or check sites such as Manga Jouhou ,that has daily updates of mangas, but I do this like once every half second, and it is just amazing, and I feel that the number is increasing, you click on a manga title to see what's about and there's a good chance that the mangas is Yaoi. You can find tons of sites that only translates yaoi. But it's never like this with Yuri. I don't think that never happened to me be searching for a new manga to read nd it happened to be Yuri. And I started to wonder why is that.

And while I was at this (yeah, I don't have much to do), I also started to think why do girls love to read Yaoi? I mean, I like to read Yaoi (not those hardcore ones, please), and lots of girlfriends of mine like to read Yaoi as well. Seriously, why? Are girls as interested in seeing two guys hooking up together as boys are in seeing two girls making out? And if it's like this, why there aren't online as many Yuri as there is Yaoi? Because a lot of manga fans are boys. Shonen, for instance, is pratically only read by boys (of course, there girls that read Shonen as well, I kow I do XD), and there are boys that read Shoujo, so why is that? Why the heck Yaoi is so god damn popular? (I warned ya that it was a strange opic that I had in mind)

And as promised I'm going to post a more groovy song. It's called What Should I Do, performed by S.H.E., and it's the opening theme for a taiwanese dorama called Hana Kimi. This drama is based on a manga with the same name, but for a reason I don't like the manga (more lithe the ending sucks), but I love the drama. Perhaps because the manga has a more serious mood (if ya know what I mean), while the dorama is super funny, maybe it's just me being crazy. Anyway, the song is great, I love it, and the lyrics is quite cute too. And just for you guys know, one of the singers of this S.H.E. band is the main actress in this drama :D And she's such a.. Strange being XD Yep, the person eating this bum or whatever is Ella..

What to do now

Really, what's the point of beginning class this week if we are going to have an almost week long holiday? That's just going to make me lazy about getting up early again.. I really hate carnival... But I guess I wouldn't hate it so much if wasn't going to travel six hours by car to my hometown. The city is cool and all but I'll have to stay locked in my grandma's house if nothing to do.. At least now she has cable..

Lately I've been wanting to read a lot of books (my list is simply endless) but I haven't got the chance to buy any lately. Half of my allowance is being used to pay the gift I bought to mommy for Xmas (I'm going to pay that mobile phone forever >D), and the other half I usually have to spend buying presents for someone's birthday.. That really sucks - not having any money left, I mean-, and here in my country books are super expensive, so when I manage to save some money I can never buy more than one and I'll usually read it in a couple of days, wich will lead to another long and sad period without reading anything.. I know, I know, I should just go to the library.. I really like libraries, but the books I want to borrow are never there when I go, and when I read a book from the library that I really like I want to have a copy for myself.. I guess I should start working to be able to buy the things I want or I should stop spending so much money...

Guess thats it for today... Ah, but just to let you know, I uploaded another song. It's calles Kimi Ni Negai Wo and is performed by Miyavi.. This song is really cool. And now that I think about it, the majority of the song I've uploaded ar all quiet, slow songs ( ya know what I mean?). Guess I'll try to upload something different next time :D

ps DingYing, thank you so much for your comment :D

bye bye!

damn this f*cking box that keeps messing with my songs.. Kimi Ni Negai Wo isn't this slow, and Miyavi's voice isn't exactly like this :@ But I'll leave it be

Thoughts and Tears from Polaris

I've been thinking about what I could write here, because sometimes I just can't stand shitty talk and want to go serious. And then I've started to think What is really important to me, after all??

Perhaps I'm thinking about this today because it was my first day as a high school senior. And while my teachers were talking about vestibular (here where I live is an exam that you have to do to enter the university of your choice, unlike in the US we don't have interviews or ours whole life's grades exposed to see if we are good enough, so basically what gets you in college is a super nerve-racking exam..) I was thinking that now more than ever it's time to set my goals before me and bust my ass to get them. And it's kind of strange and somewhat frightening that starting now I'll be the one in charge of how my life leads on and that if I fail it's going to be exclusive my fault (I guess it's kind of harsh to say it like this, but this is how I think ''the thing is'', ya know?). But at the same time that I'm scared of not making the right choices or failing (and I don't know wich one is worse) I'm so excited to reach what's ahead of me and to be able to finally do what I've always dreamt of. Pretty confusing, isn't it?

Okay, to light up the mood a bit I'm going to upload a beautiful music from a very cool tawainese dorama called Smiling Past. Well enjoy then the song, wich is called Tears from Polaris, performed by Nicholas Teo!

Also, for you to know some of things that I like I'm going to leave here at this post the link to Jane Goodall's site. For those who may not have heard of her, Jane Goodall is a lot of things. But she's specially known for her forty-something study of the chimpanzees' social and family lifes, and also founding the Jane Goodall Institute for Wildlife Research, Education and Conservation, she has also writen a couple of books. Anyway, she's really cool and by clicking on this link you'll acess her site and in the main page you'll be able to click to listen her lecture on 2006's Earth Day. It's very cool :D

bye bye!

Royal Treatment

Hey guys! Today I received some wonderful news.. I opened my e-mail today and there in my inbox I was told that someone wrote a comment for y blog, yee! Okay, I've already received a comment before, but it was from my best friend and she'll love no matter what crap I write here so.. Anyway, I was really happy to know that someone actually saw my little blog! I hope Mr John Doe will visit me here more times and tat other people will start visiting here as well! I know, you must be thinking ''My god, this girl is really pathetic, look how damn excited she is about this"...
And I have some good news today! While I was randomly reading some threads of a forum I saw some awesome news! It seems that Gackt and Yoshiki are going on tour together in the US! I was really excited about that, even though I'd prefer then touring at Europe, to be more precise, in London from the 8th of July to 5th August, because I'll be there this period, but that's okay I guess.. I don't have the insides of this news, however, because I still didn't finish reading the thread at the forum, but as soon as I finish it I'll let you guys know. Anyway, I uploaded a really cool song, calleg Leeca, that Gackt and Yoshiki recorded together, so go and check it out!

Quack quack

Hey there y'all it's been a while since I last posted but that's only because I have no idea for posts lately.. Well, but I guess that I can tell that I am preparing a little something huhuhu (evil laugh) and I hope that I'll have finished most of this by the end of this week because next monday my classes start again! And I would be only more excited if someone told me I was going to Japan next week to meet all of my idols, because I'm so bored that I can't stand anymore.. So let me see; both Top Chef AND America's Next Top Model ended the way I want with the victory of Harold and Danielle, yeee ! And this week's episode of Shonen Club was cool, I liked Summary, the mini bike race and the guest's song, but I really wanted more Ya-Ya-yah action you know... And I uploaded a really cool song to my box today! It's a song from a dorama called Mukodono 2003, and though this drama isn't that cool this song really is. And plus: the song (called Omae Ya Nai To Akannen) is performed by the lead actor of this jdrama, who is no one less than Nagase Tomoya, the lead singer of TOKIO!!! So enjoy !

bye bye!
