So in the end I came back earlier from Grandma's. At least I get to watch
Dream Girsl tomorrow, hope it's cool. Anyway, I was going to blab about things from my trip but instead I decided to talk abou something that has been bugging me for a while now. But first let me warn you guys that is a very weird subject..
Yaoi. I'm sure that all of you know what Yaoi means, but just in case... Is something like that : you've already heard abut those japanese comic books, called mangas right? Yaoi is a kind of manga, that talks about love between guys, ya know? Anyway, what I was thinking is that Yaoi is much more popular than Yuri, don't ya think? At least on the net, I mean. I don't know how often you read manga online or check sites such as
Manga Jouhou ,that has daily updates of mangas, but I do this like once every half second, and it is just amazing, and I feel that the number is increasing, you click on a manga title to see what's about and there's a good chance that the mangas is Yaoi. You can find tons of sites that only translates yaoi. But it's never like this with Yuri. I don't think that never happened to me be searching for a new manga to read nd it happened to be Yuri. And I started to wonder why is that.
And while I was at this (yeah, I don't have much to do), I also started to think why do girls love to read Yaoi? I mean, I like to read Yaoi (not those hardcore ones, please), and lots of girlfriends of mine like to read Yaoi as well. Seriously, why? Are girls as interested in seeing two guys hooking up together as boys are in seeing two girls making out? And if it's like this, why there aren't online as many Yuri as there is Yaoi? Because a lot of manga fans are boys. Shonen, for instance, is pratically only read by boys (of course, there girls that read Shonen as well, I kow I do XD), and there are boys that read Shoujo, so why is that? Why the heck Yaoi is so god damn popular? (I warned ya that it was a strange opic that I had in mind)

And as promised I'm going to post a more groovy song. It's called
What Should I Do, performed

by S.H.E., and it's the opening theme for a taiwanese dorama called Hana Kimi. This drama is based on a manga with the same name, but for a reason I don't like the manga (more lithe the ending sucks), but I love the drama. Perhaps because the manga has a more serious mood (if ya know what I mean), while the dorama is super funny, maybe it's just me being crazy. Anyway, the song is great, I love it, and the lyrics is quite cute too. And just for you guys know, one of the singers of this S.H.E. band is the main actress in this drama :D And she's such a.. Strange being XD Yep, the person eating this bum or whatever is Ella..
bye bye!
